Correspondence with Horace Taylor (1881-1934), artist, relating to discussion of a period of employment for Taylor at the Manchester Guardian as a political cartoonist during the [general] election, 1910, with praise of his work, and suggestions by Taylor of other potential work he might carry out for the paper. Also included is internal correspondence with James Bone, journalist, relating to the recommendation of Taylor, a proposal for his continuing employment, and reference to potential work for Taylor in Manchester.
