Correspondence with George Edward St Lawrence Carson (1873-1934), mathematician and educationist, relating to discussion of the situation in Europe, and the issue of unemployment with reference to the approach of [Stanley Baldwin], prime minister.

Also included is correspondence relating to discussion of Carson's financial situation and need to borrow money, and to money borrowed by Cason from Scott which is not repaid. There is also correspondence with Frank A. Padmore, solicitor, discussing the inability to recover Scott's money from Carson, and Scott's decision not to initiate legal proceedings.
