The Darby family of Brymbo, Denbighshire, originated in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire. W. H. Darby (fl. 1831-1877) was an ironmaster, and involved in the growing iron industry around Brymbo during the 19th century. He was also part of the Temperance movement. H. W. Bradley, bookseller, of Hawarden, Flintshire, was active in the 1930s.
