Gwilym H. Morris (c. 1900-c.1971) was a resident of Afon-wen, Flintshire. He had a sister Mabel Foulkes (nee Morris) (fl. 1900-1998) and a brother, John. During the early 20th century, he was a market reporter for the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries, and chairman of Caerwys magistrates until his retirement in 1958.

Most items are not arranged but the following groups appear within the listing: Printed Books [including a subgroup concerned with Daniel Owen]; Maps; Deeds; Photographs; Estate of the late G. H. Morris; Estate of the late Mrs Mabel Foulkes of Rhesycae (youngest sister of G. H. Morris).

Transferred to Flintshire County Museum and Library service were 192 items (antiquities; collection of agricultural farm implements), ANT90 and ANT96, deposited by G. H. Morris in 1975. Item 64 was however returned to him.
