Chamberlain writing from Terling Place. Asks her to send the name of her French book for next year to her residence at Birmingham. Comments on Chateaubriand. Repeats how much she enjoyed her stay with them last week. Lady Frances Balfour has been staying with them, but we avoided fiscal reform, 'we only disagreed about Cromwell and America and some other matters'.
