Photograph, printed, paper, monochrome, Galanthus elwesii, inscription on reverse, ‘On the left a group of Galanthus Elwesi [sic] Colesbourne 20.2.1911 & raised from seed & mostly past their best on 20.2.11 on their left a group of the much dwarfer snowdrop which I showed in Feb – and gave you. They always show their flowers close to the ground & both leaves and flower stems are dwarfer than any other snowdrop known to me in proportion to their size’. Dimensions 18.5 (w) x 9.5 (h) cm.
