The file largely consists of memoranda and reports issued by the Blood Transfusion Committee on a range of topics contributed by a number of people. These are:

In addition there are some handwritten notes belonging to Wilkinson about the organisation of the blood transfusion service and the blood transfusion committee as well as a typed report relating to decisions made by the Blood Transfusion Committee of the Manchester Royal Infirmary and the operations of the local service.
