Miscellaneous Letters I

Scope and Content

Letter to Mr MacDonald [probably George MacDonald, 1824-1905, poet and novelist] mentioning his mother and sending a message to Octavia [Presumably Octavia Hill, 1838- 1912, who was taught by Ruskin and went on to become a pioneering female teacher and co-founder of the National Trust] telling her 'to be at perfect peace of mind about what she will require at Florence.'

Dated at Denmark Hill [London].
