Scope and Content

Letter to Henry Willett [one of the companions of the St George's Museum, Walkley, Sheffield and a founder of the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery] 'proudly' accepting the dedication to Ruskin that Willett would like to put in his book. He also requests that Willett sends him 'more copies of those exquisite quatrains of Professor Church's which are the most precious I have ever seen about the flowers.' Ruskin talks about his health and his recent illness, stating that he wishes to give 'to you my friends no more frights about me...; the last illness was a lesson no more to be forgotten.'
