Scope and Content

[Letters of Thynne Howe Gwynne to the family of Charles Wesley senior. ]

From Buckland, Brecknockshire, to Sally Wesley in York Buildings, New Road, London, expressing pleasure that Sally's fractured ribs are healing well. He was however concerned to hear of the sufferings of Sally's mother.

He has been confined to his bed for several days with a bad cold.

With regard to money, he will do everything that he can to ease the minds of his Wesley relations, and feels that Sally was quite correct in preventing her mother from reducing her income.

He hopes that Charles and Sally will react with 'Christian fortitude' in the matter of their brother Samuel's problems.
