[Letters of Marmaduke Gwynne to Howell Harris]

Transcript of a letter from Garth, to Howell Harris in Builth Wells, Brecknockshire. Tommy Jones has written re the success that his preaching has lately enjoyed, and to inform Gwynne of Harris's return from London.

He is unable to travel to meet Harris at Builth because of a painful swelling on his face, and would be pleased if Harris would stay instead at Garth as his guest for at least one night.

Gwynne describes in detail how his Calvinist sympathies have alienated those 'who maintain the universal scheme of redemption of mankind.' He also discusses his awareness of his own sinful nature and atonement by Christ.

The books sent by Rees Jones have arrived.
