[In Joseph's hand] Going to the inaugural service of the new library; Julie is busy so he is writing instead to assure her they are both well; many visits the past week, very pleasant but a little tiring to Julie; hopes Sarah will visit them soon. [in Julie's hand] so sorry Sarah has had her old pain; Julie to visit Elizabeth from Scarborough who has just come next door; she has been helping with a devise in leaves this morning 'The Albert Library'.
