Isaac Robson dined with them, Thos. likely to lodge at a boarding house but hopes he will still be a good deal with them; glad to be seeing Joseph soon and asks if there's anything he'd like her to bring him; their health; two American friends landed at Liverpool on 1st day; Hannah pleased that Julie is coming to visit the Backhouses whilst her parents are in London; Hannah's had an excellent likeness taken of herself which she gave to John on his birthday.
