Some detail is given of the early history of the Thompson Company, 1909 – 1914; agreement with the Curtiss Co. for a 12 years exclusive agency for their aircraft in Great Britain and the dominions; defeats of the Curtiss flying-boat; Thompson designs his own flying-boat. Suggests treatment for cataract from which Lanchester is suffering.
