The Congress was 'a walkover' for Herriot, apart from the Bergery episode. He will now look for more information on the French Plan, although Paul Boncour's speech has clarified most points. Herriot made a significant amendment in the resolution at Toulouse about total abolition of arms forbidden to Germany. He gives Webb's address in Paris; he has worked for eight days; he would be grateful if he could arrange for a cheque to be forwarded to Webb. Dell is to be given a farewell dinner in Paris on 17 November - do they want a detailed account or just a few lines? He met Jacques Kayser at Toulouse; he has promised to send a 'letter to the Editor'. He asks if he should write a piece on the Salon d'Automne, or leave it to Ph. Parr.
