Correspondence and memoranda relating to application for wage advance made by Amalgamation in late 1945. The claim was to have been submitted to the National Arbitration Tribunal, although this had not been done during the time-scale referred to in these documents. The correspondence includes complaints from districts about the flat-rate type advance that had been negotiated in April 1945.
