The file includes much material on the workings of the government's incomes policy, including the White Paper, The Attack on Inflation (Cmnd. 6151) [July 1975], which set a limit of £6 flat rate increases until August 1976. In April 1976, BTEA and the ATWU signed an agreement within the terms of the incomes policy.
