Scope and Content

Black and white photograph of Kathleen Courtney, an elderly lady, smelling a bunch of white roses, which are held by a younger woman. Courtney is wearing a hat made up of imitation flowers. Taken quite close up.

Taken at a reception at the Ulster Office, London for the dedication of a rose to the Women's Suffrage Movement and the RAF in their golden jubilee year.

Some warping and slight creasing. Indentation from a paperclip top left. Some small dirty marks. Production method: gelatin silver print.
