Maternity Alliance Constitution and Articles of Association

A file of correspondence and other documents assembled in chronological order from a series of loose files of working papers, covering principally matters relating to the registration and constitution of the Maternity Alliance. The file includes the first MA policy statement; correspondence with the Charity Commission and the Registrar of Companies; letters to lawyers; drafts of constitutional documents, many annotated; the MA's Memorandum and Articles of Association; discussions about the structure of MA - in particular, about it role both as a campaigning organisation and as one that also carried out education and research. Duplicates have been removed.
