Rough minutes in the hand of Lord Stamford of a meeting of trustees of Warrington Free Grammar School. The names of trustees present are recorded. The trustees approved the appointments of a clerk and treasurer, the election of new trustees, fixed the salaries of the headmaster, usher and teachers, and agreed to admit boys at the age of seven, provided that they were reasonably proficient in reading and spelling.
