Typed letter from Frederick Lanchester to Robert Lockhart offering his copies of the Royal Society's 'B' proceedings

In payment for the oatmeal that Lockhart is sending him. Complains again about rationing and states that Lord Woolton [Minister of Food who introduced rationing during the Second World War] 'is a boob' because of his pronouncements on food shortages: 'he is a prize fool and I would like to have him put in a glass case in the Natural History Museum, label "Homo ignorans" but if they were all treated thus they would want a place as big as Whipsnade [zoo]'.
