Letter

Scope and Content

From Eastcott, near Pinner, Middlesex, to Thomas Joseph Pettigrew in London, describing in detail the alterations made by Clarke to Pettigrew's article on the Polyglott. Clarke's observations cover his own Complutum, and the Antwerp, Paris, and London editions.

He commends Pettigrew's cataloguing project as a very worthy piece of work, and suggests that Clarke's own collection might be of some interest.

Clarke hopes on his return from Bristol to have the honour of entertaining the Duke of Sussex.
