Letter

Scope and Content

From Haydon Hall, Middlesex, to Revd. Samuel Harpur in Drogheda, Ireland, describing his itinerary for April and May-Birmingham, London, Sheffield, Liverpool, and Northern Ireland.

Mr. Nelson has sent a pleasing account of the progress of the Irish Circuit Schools, but Clarke was distressed to learn that Mrs. McConaghy has built her house virtually adjoining his house in Port Stuart, despite the fact that Mr. Cromie had been asked to deal with the matter. Clarke is therefore resolved to abandon his plan to live in Ireland, and will instead rent his house out.
