From composer and poet Trevor Hold (b. 1939), informing Norman of the forthcoming first performance (on 10 September) of his setting of Nicholson's 'Song at Night' at Higham Hall, Bassenthwaite. He writes belatedly to ask permission for setting the poem, and to invite Nicholson to the recital.
