Manuscript of 'My Friend the Swallow'. [1970] The manuscript includes two A5 pages of notes, outlining events in the novel, some of which are crossed out in the notes. There is also a newspaper clipping from The Times Literary Supplement, Thursday December 19, 1968. A certificate (now MS Gen 1770/D/2/9, and filed with that series) of Miss Jane Duncan's support for the preservation of the Collegiate Church of the Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon, was included with this manuscript. The original wrapping for this manuscript was labelled "1970".
