Untitled manuscript for a novel in the 'My Friends' series. The manuscript pages are a combination of sections from several manuscripts and read as an early draft of a novel that follows on directly from the story in 'My Friends the Macleans'. The text in the different manuscript sections combines story elements that appear in both 'My Friend the Swallow' and 'My Friend Sashie'. The manuscript pages are not in numerical order.There is a also publicity card for 'Camerons on the Train' included with this manuscript, which has quotations from Shakespeare sonnets handwritten on the reverse of the card. The card is address to Mrs A Alexander, the narrator of the 'My Friends' series.
