The Shoemakers' Holiday: National Theatre, 1981

This series relates to the National Theatre's production of Thomas Dekker's Tudor play The Shoemaker's Holiday. The series includes correspondence, correspondence with museum curators relating to research material, notes on costumes and props, production schedules and programmes. There are production photographs and photographs of some of the more elaborate costumes, lists of costumes, characters, furniture and props as well as sketches of scenes. There are plans, sections and elevations, designs for costumes, hair and wigs and props as well as reference photographs and fabric samples.
