This series contain materials relating to Julia's designs for the one-woman show Beatrix starring Patricia Routledge and based on the life of Beatrix Potter. The series contains production diaries, notes, annotated scripts, list of props, reference photographs taken at Hill Top (Beatrix Potter's house) for use as prop references, sketches and reference images of various parts of the set and scenery, plans for the placement of scenery and props and set and rehearsal photographs. The series also includes correspondence and memos, production, touring and rehearsal schedules, publicity material for various productions or performances and press cuttings, reviews and magazine articles about the production. There are also reference images used for researching the costume designs as well as samples of Herdwick tweed fabric and hair samples for use in the wig.
