Black edged letter with envelope (21 Aug 1892) from Lord Rosebery, written from The Durdans, Epsom to Sir William Agnew, expressing sympathy for Mrs Agnew's continued illness. He also thanks Sir William for his note on Rosebery's recent appointment (probably as that of Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on 18 August), stating that the only two to whom it does not give pleasure are [Henry] Labouchere and himself.
