Volume 30 of Thomas Robert Halcomb's notebooks. The front of the notebook contains notes on Germanic, Indian and Greek mythology, the grammar of ancient Germanic languages [?] and the history of Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages, including a chronology. The back of the notebook contains notes on Mediaeval philosophy and medicine and the history of the Church in Late Antiquity and the Early and High Middle Ages, including in Anglo-Saxon England. This notebook contains passages in Latin and French, and a few passages in Greek; these may be quotations from other works, but it is not known where they came from.
