Working papers relating to creation of deprivation index of the United Kingdom

Data analysis to create a deprivation index for nine regions of England and Wales using census data measuring unemployment, car ownership, house ownership and overcrowding these were then correlated to smoking related deaths and incidence of lung cancer. This work appears to have been commissioned by the Small Area Health Statistics Unit (SAHSU).
