[The lead ostriches which were once on the roof of Gough Park were moved to Myddelton House when the house was demolished in the 1890s by Henry C.B. Bowles. A stone pillar, now known as ‘The Irishman’s Shirt’, was also acquired from Gough Park for Myddelton House garden by E.A. Bowles]
