Headed 'Seed Lives' this refers to a book entitled 'Seed Lives' 1863 by Elihu Burritt which gives an account of Ellice Hopkins' addresses to working men in which Ellice Hopkins (1836-1904) thanks the writer of this book for 'consulting my wishes and not publishing my name or the name of the place where I work. Filed with this letter post card addressed to Miss Ridley post mark Ju24 76 on which appears under skull and crossbones 'Myrtle Cottage Freshwater hic jacet E.H. R.I.P. No date and address.
