Andrew Marvell,Selected poems

Manuscript of Andrew Marvell's Selected poems, edited by Bill Hutchings (Manchester: Carcanet New Press, 1979). The book was published as part of the Fyfield series; it was typeset in-house at Carcanet and printed by Billings. The copy-editor was probably Peter Jones. The manuscript is complete from introduction onwards. Minor emendations and clarification of readings in black and blue ink are presumably by Hutchings, who probably also added the foliation which runs throughout. Marvell's poems have been photocopied from earlier published sources and taped to larger pages. Typesetting instructions have been added in red, probably by Peter Jones and Michael Schmidt.

The collated proofs of this book are included in the first sequence of book files from the second accession, at CPA/1/2/1/27.
