Dance costume designs for Yardena (1)

Scope and Content

Both labelled 'Yardena', and 1) 'Ecossaise' and 2) 'Mussorgsky' and dated 1935, indicating that they were probably created by MBH when she was in Palestine. It is possible that these designs were made for the Jewish dancer Yardena Cohen, who had studied in Vienna in 1930 and had returned to Palestine in 1933. Previously in MBH/File 29.
