Letters from Daniel Wilson, Samuel Egerton's future son-in-law, written shortly before his marriage to Beatrix Egerton in 1778. He introduces himself, describes his acquaintance with Beatrix whom he met in London and who has given her permission for him to approach Samuel about a possible engagement, hopes his character and finances are acceptable and announces that he will visit Samuel at Tatton in August.
