Kosset Carpets Limited was officially opened on 27 Sep 1956. Five carpet manufacturers supporte the new firm and had a representative on the Board, namely John Crossley and Carpet Trade Holdings Limited, Brintons Limited of Kidderminster, the Carpet Manufacturing Company of Kidderminster, James Templeton and Company Limited of Glasgow, and T Bond Worth and Sons Limited of Stourport. Charles Patrick Crossley was the 1st Chairman.
