WILL dated 1763, March 13, and PROBATE 20 April 1763, of David Jones of Penyrallt, Cardiganshire, esquire. To be buried in Llangoedmore church; to the poor of that parish 1 guinea; re settlement of my estate by deed dated 4 April 1738, which empowers me to settle £1,200 on my younger children: I own messuages in the parishes of Llanarth and Llandissiliogogo in Cardiganshire, called Gelly angarad and a moiety of Vadva, which last mentioned premises I give to Elizabeth my wife so that she may raise £500 by mortgage: I give to said Elizabeth this £500 and £1,200 in trust for her to pay the following — to my daughter Elizabeth £200, to my daughter Lettice £200, to my daughter Deborah £200, to my daughter Hester £200, to be paid to them when 21 years of age: to my second son David £100: to my 3rd son Thomas £100, to my 4th son Richard £100, to my 5th son Samuel £100, to my 6th son James £100, to my 7th son Evan £100, to my 8th son Benjamin £100, to be paid when 21 years of age, or when settled to business. To my son-in-law William Rowland, gentleman, £100, that remains due to him by my Bond of my daughter Mary's portion. My wife, sole executrix.
