Satirical ballad entitled The coming of the Prince, commemorating the opening of the East Docks by the Prince and Princess of Wales, claiming that the docks were hurriedly constructed to persuade the prince to come during the current mayors term of office (see also D/D JVH 178 above). Includes hand-written notes on the back explaining the references. 1881
