Scope and Content

This section comprises material relating to the Röntgen Centenary Congress held at the International Convention Centre and National Indoor Arena in Birmingham from 12th to 16th June, 1996. Ian Isherwood was President of the Congress and Chair of the Congress Committee which organised the event. The Congress was staged with the support of major sponsors, including 3M UK, IGE Medical Systems Ltd., Kodak Ltd., E. Merck Pharmaceuticals, Philips Medical Systems and Schering Health Care Ltd. The main part of the Congress involved scientific sessions, courses, workshops, focus sessions, symposia and lectures on a variety of aspects of Radiology and imaging, as well as a large technical exhibition devoted to the radiological, radiographic and associated sciences,
