Scope and Content

These include reports made by Harris to Barry UDC Gas and Water Committee 1895-1902; statements of claim; proofs; evidence; correspondence and related financial papers

Harris was appointed engineer to Barry and Cadoxton Gas and Water Co. 1886 on a salary and agreed financial commission. The company was replaced by the Barry and Cadoxton Local Board under the Barry and Cadoxton Local Board (Gas and Water) Act 1893. Harris claimed commission on improvements and new works made by Barry UDC (successors of the company and board) 1899-1906
