The file contains sketches, tables and Theatre Projects Consultants Ltd correspondence with consultants and contractors regarding aspects of the electrical installation, such as the drum revolve motor protection, M V switchgear, safety lighting and production lighting, at the National Theatre. Topics covered in the correspondence include the issue of drawings, the creation of an electrical services manual, loadings and capacities, switchboard co-incident loads, quotations for equipment and installation, lighting proposals, test and inspections, dimmer room layouts, the purchase of parts and equipment, conduit installation, sub-contracting of the wiring; and methods of control in the foyers.
