Family photographs and obituaries

This subseries contains items that were grouped together in envelope III on the original handlist. It contains 16 photographs, mainly of members of the Pilkington family; a score of A Birthday Ode written for a birthday concert for Margaret Pilkington (see PIL/1/4/4/10); a booklet from The Pioneer Club; the front page of the Ancoats and Salford Girls Institute Choirs' Book of Words of the Concert at the Free Trade Hall, 1916, containing a woodblock print by Margaret Pilkington; and finally a copy of the obituary or talk by Joan Worthington on the death of Margaret Pilkington.
