Letter from W.R. Paterson to Venn Paterson. Châlet Beau Reveil, Menton-Garavan (A.M.), France, 6 April 1929.
Finished book 'Half Heathen' but no editor will look at it as it contains condemnation of Fascism. English newspapers pro-Mussolini. But Trevelyan, Gilbert Murray and H.G. Wells outspoken against it. Suspects American pirated editions of his novels. Will probably renew lease for one more season then go to Spain. Kate foolish to return to Glasgow, which has worst climate in Europe.
