Letter from John Forgham to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter, in which Owen is asked if he will be visiting Liverpool. If so, then Forgham explains he will gather together the readers of [Owen's newspaper] the New Moral World, so they will be "sufficiently acquainted with the principles" and thus prepared for Owen.

Forgham closes by assuring Owen of his popularity in Liverpool, writing the readers of the New Moral World in that city are "about a dozen the number of Christ'sapostles"
