Frederick Voigt to W. P. Crozier.

Location: Paris.

He sends a message tonight about the intended murder of Hindenburg. The murder of Torgler and the three Bulgarians was to be committed a short while ago. The Brown Shirts were to start a prison riot (a 'Communist riot') and in the ensuing chaos the four men would be killed. This plan had to be abandoned after that article appeared in the Manchester Guardian. The Dictatorship are about to start another anti-Communist drive and need another outrage to justify it. If the assassination of Hindenburg does not come off then they will try something else.
