Playscript of The Altar of Friendship, a comedy in four acts by Madeleine Lucette Ryley. This play was first produced at the Hollis Street Theatre, Boston, U.S.A., 9 September 1901. The script contains a list of the cast who performed on that occasion and plans for stage settings. [The play was later performed fifty times at the Knickerbocker Theatre, New York in 1902 and twenty-six times at the Criterion Theatre, London, in 1903].
