Playscript of The Great Conspiracy, a play in three acts which was adapted by Madeleine Lucette Ryley from Pierre Berton's French play La belle Marseillaise. [It was produced twenty-nine times at the Knickerbocker Theatre, New York (with Virginia Harned) and sixty times at the Duke of York's Theatre, London with John Hare taking the lead]. An annotated note states that this script was 'The property of Jane Comfort [Madeleine Tearle], 159, Gloucester Place, London, N.W.1. Paddington 4156.'
