Scope and Content

Includes a photograph from the memorial from Brenda Bruce at Stratford Theatre (including Stephanie Cole, Celia Imrie and Sir Derek Jacobi) as well as press cuttings and obituaries and orders of service for funeral, memorial or thanksgiving services and running orders, notes or scripts from the services at which Stephanie Cole spoke or read. The people being remembered include Reginald (Reggie) Salberg, manager of the Salisbury Playhouse, Peter Tinniswood, Ned Sherrin, writer Miles Kington (Stephanie Cole chose Mile's Kington's Albanian proverbs as one of her choices on the radio program With Great Pleasure), Peter Copley, Pennant Roberts (including the script for the tribute from those involved in Tenko, with Stephanie Cole's part highlighted), Pete Postlethwaite, George Morris Baker, Margaret Tyzack, Jonathan Hugh Cecil, John Wood, John Moffatt (who voiced Poirot in some of the Agatha Christie radio adaptations where Stephanie Cole played Ariadne Oliver), Johan Engels, Christopher Rozycki, Sir Donald Sinden (who had been president of the Royal Theatrical Fund while Stephanie Cole was involved in the fund), Jill Hyem (writer of Tenko), Richard Pasco, Deddie Davies, Brian Rix, Tim Piggott-Smith (Stephanie Cole spoke at the memorial celebration in the section Tim at Theatre School), James Barber (director of the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre) and Benjamin Whitrow (who had been with Stephanie Cole in the cast of Quartet).
