The first register initially overlaps then succeeds RDC3/4/R2/3: a new referencing scheme was introduced in January 1947 whereby a continuous series of numbers with no further referencing data (introduced in 1932 and running until 1600) was replaced by an annual series of numbers identified by the year e.g. 1/47.
Unfortunately there are gaps in the following dates: Nov 1948 - Apr 1952, Nov 1953 - Jun 1956, Jul 1957 - Jun 1958, Apr 1960 - Jul 1962, Aug 1966 - Jan 1967, Jan 1969 - Nov 1971.
The registers are arranged in order of plan number and provide details of proposer, proposal, name, address and dates.
